SUPER HERO NIGHT
It was a snowy and icy night but a great group of kids showed up for King's Club! It was Super Hero Night and everyone was dressed appropriately. Some of our favorites were "Winter Woman, Super Gymnast Girl and Super Sleepy Girl!" Then there was Miss Amy........can you guess who she was? It was a great time as we learned that Jesus is the greatest Super Hero of all time. The roof of the club house is filling up with food and the 4th and 5th graders went shopping for more!!! Praise the Lord for the many great things happening at King's Club!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The children of Lakewood shared the Christmas message at the first service this Sunday. What a wonderful blessing to watch each child and their smiles of joy. Thank you to all involved in making this a special time! Even Charlie M. did his part by being up front......may God bless all of our children as they grow in His love.

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES
Operation Christmas Child is in full swing as the King's Club packed shoeboxes Sunday night for this project. It was an exciting place here at Lakewood as 53 boxes were packed and made ready to ship around the world. After packing each box a time of sharing and prayer was held to bless these gifts. May God use our simple gifts to bring great joy to Him!

LAST CLASS FOR CENTERSHOT
This week was the last session for the Fall Centershot Ministry. Thirteen students (one was unable to complete the course because of injury) completed the class successfuly. What a blessing as each one studied God's Word and learned the skills of archery. A recognition for these students will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, at the 9:30 a.m. service.
COOKIE WALK COMING SOON!
The Ron Wierenga Cookie Walk will be held at Lakewood on Saturday, Nov. 17. This is a fund raiser for the Mission Committee and is a great time of sharing and reaching out. A group gathered this week to bake cookies and the church smelled wonderful! Mark the date on your calendar and be a part of this great time.
DOES IT GET ANY BETTER?
Ice Cream Fudge Bars at King's Club!!! That's a sure way to end the night on a good note! This week will be the last regular King's Club meeting for the year. We will be packing boxes for Operation Shoebox. This is a highlight for the children each year as we reach around the world with God's love.
THE TOPIC IS DATING
The Junior High and Senior High Youth are looking to God's Word to direct them in some current topics. This past week "Dating" was the lesson and discovering how to date in a Christ-like manner. The world is a difficult place so lets keep our youth in prayer as they learn God's ways!
