The weather couldn't have been more perfect as we gathered outside for praise and worship this past Sunday. A good crowd was present to share with the ministry of "Crosswise"....a Christian musical group from the Grand Rapids area. They shared a wonderful message and inspired many. Pastor Dave shared a brief devotional and the service was followed with lunch......grilled hot dogs and all the fixings. What a wonderful day to share.....life at Lakewood is good!
It was a great trip for the Living Stones as they traveled to Pensacola FL to share God's love! As always there were lots of new experiences including four new tires for the church van!! What a blessing to see our youth grow in God's grace and work together. And....what a great privilege to be able to share the Good News...may God continue to work in and through the Living Stones.
It was a LUAU to remember at Family Camp 2012. Lots of fun and lots of memories.....who could forget Peg A. doing the hula....or the Ken R. family who won the costume contest....and the Micah S. family who won the best decorated site. The "Low Country Boil" was a success and many shared together as One in the Body of Christ. Watch for more pics next week!
